Royal Conservatory of Music Silver Medal Winners 2008 (Speech Arts and Drama)

Each year, The Royal Conservatory of Music awards Silver Medals for the highest marks in Alberta (one per grade). In November, The Speech Studio students received eight silver medals for the 2008-2009 practical exams. Award winners are:

Student of the Year 2008 - 2009: Jessica Kim

Jessica has been studying Speech Arts and Drama with Shirley Konrad for almost 10 years. During this time, Jessica has been the recipient of numerous scholarships and awards, including 3 Silver Medals from the Royal Conservatory of Music. In 2009, Jessica won the prestigious E.B McKitrick Memorial Scholarship at the Edmonton Kiwanis Music Festival. She was selected to represent Edmonton at the Provincials and won the Senior Category in June. Jessica has completed Grade 10 with the Royal Conservatory of Music and Grade Eight with Trinity College, London England. She is currently working to complete her Associate Performer’s and Teacher’s Diplomas from the Royal Conservatory of Music.
